PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki has described the PAS and Umno's inaugural retreat in Janda Baik, Pahang as 'historical'.

"We discussed in-depth our direction, approach, strategy, and joint effort to further strengthen Muafakat Nasional," he said when asked to comment on the outcome of the retreat. Among the leaders present were Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, and their deputies Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
