PAS today denied claims that the appointment of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang as a special envoy to the Middle East is an effort to appease and win the hearts of party members. Secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan, in a statement, said PAS, especially Hadi, has never asked for posts or positions in the government.
