Some parts of Catanduanes remained under Signal No. 1 as Tropical Depression Rosal kept its strength while moving northwestward over the Philippine Sea, weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday afternoon.
The center of the tropical depression was spotted 285 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon, with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 55 km/h.For the rest of Saturday, moderate to heavy with at times intense rains may be experienced over Bicol Region and Quezon.
Light to moderate with at times heavy rains may prevail over Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, and Quezon on Sunday. When heading out to sea, mariners were urged to exercise caution and, if possible, stay away from these conditions.
