Katanya, menerusi projek berkenaan, sebanyak 45 cerun kritikal berisiko tinggi telah dikenal pasti di kawasan Cameron Highlands.“Selain itu sebanyak lima lokasi di Cameron Highlands telah dipasang peralatan sistem amaran awal ,” katanya di Dewan Rakyat, hari ini. Dalam pada itu, Timbalan Menteri turut menjelaskan, berdasarkan rekod data meteorologi dari tahun 1969 hingga 2024, suhu Cameron Highlands menunjukkan trend peningkatan terutamanya dalam tempoh 10 tahun terakhir.
