Parliamentary committee still wants to meet Dr M over Latheefa's appointment
said this was because the issue concerns one of Pakatan Harapan's promises in its election manifesto.
As part of its pledge to restore the dignity of Parliament, Pakatan in its GE14 manifesto had said that key national positions such as appointments to the Human Rights Commission, Election Commission, MACC and Judicial Appointment Commissions must be approved by a suitable parliamentary committee.
