The parliamentary select committee on domestic trade says its recommendation is to ease the financial burden of the rakyat.
The parliamentary select committee hoped the Payung Rahmah initiative would continue in the future.
In a statement, the committee said its recommendations follow a meeting yesterday and are intended to help ease the burden of the cost of living on people. “The committee also recommends that the domestic trade and cost of living ministry get more local traders to be involved in the Rahmah sale programme,” it said.
