Just 2 days ago, the entertainment industry was shocked by the news of the death of Lee Sun-Kyun, a South Korean actor who was found dead in his car after committing suicide. Lee was notably known for his role in the award-winning movie, Parasite.
On the same day, his suicide note to his wife, Jeon Hye Jin was revealed by the news. It was brief but the words were more than sufficient to show that Lee felt lost and couldn’t find another way out. According to the report by Korean ENT, the actor apologised to the representative of his agency and wrote “I’m sorry” while mentioning the financial burden of advertising and film penalties, which were incurred owing to the alleged drug probe.
Lee also claimed that he was tricked by the woman into taking the drugs and that he did not know what he was consuming. In November, he tested negative in 2 drug tests conducted by the police.
