Parañaque 1st District Representative Edwin Olivarez announced that the local government will have a meeting with Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian to discuss the installation of the agency’s satellite office in the city.
He said that setting up a DSWD satellite office in the city will make availing of assistance and other services more convenient for Parañaqueños. Olivarez also distributed financial assistance to 41 residents who were victims of a fire on Jan. 15. Five city residents who are confined at different hospitals in Metro Manila were given guarantee letters.
