Parañaque City Mayor Eric OIivarez expressed his support to daycare center teachers during an orientation on early childhood program for kids aged four years old and below.Olivarez thanked the teachers for their dedication in teaching and preparing theHe said there are 135 daycare centers in the city where a total of 11,300 students are currently enrolled.
The mayor also promised the teachers that he will continue to uplift the quality of education in the city. Olivarez, who is also a professor and a registered nurse, said one of the city government advocacies is to cultivate and enhance the quality of education through various projects and programs centered on the welfare and well-being of students.
The mayor also promised that the city government will continue to construct additional school buildings, provide computer laboratories and E-libraries, distribute of P500 monthly allowance to students from kindergarten to senior high schools, and support the city’s SPED Therapy Center.
