The Therapeutic Goods Administration has proposed a range of changes to limit the number of paracetamol tablets and capsules on offer to combat rising rates of overdoses among young people.
An independent report commissioned by the Therapeutic Goods Administration found there were increased rates of intentional self-poisoning in paracetamol use, with the largest proportion of cases in adolescents, young adults and females.
