The musician and reality TV star told Eyewitness News that he is now an MK Party member, after he resigned from as a councillor and member of the ANC earlier this week.
JOHANNESBURG - Musician and reality TV star Papa Penny has ditched the African National Congress and taken up membership with former President Jacob Zuma’s uMkhonto weSizwe Party.he is now an MK Party member and will be headlining the party’s manifesto launch on Saturday at Orlando Stadium.
He claims to have gained enemies in the governing party following a failed bid to become the leader of the ANC in Limpopo – but said he won’t bash the ANC in public. Papa Penny said he wants to focus on service delivery, claiming the MK Party will also give him an opportunity to unite the country.
