Palmer Nets Four As Chelsea Hit Everton For Six

The visitors were made to rue that miss as Cole Palmer opened the scoring for the Blues three minutes later after combining with Nicolas Jackson before curling one into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Pickford didn't cover himself in glory ten minutes later when he gifted the ball straight to Palmer outside his box, which allowed the English forward to lob into an open net from 25 yards out.
While Everton initially looked more solid in the second half, the Blues were awarded a penalty in the 60th minute for a foul on Noni Madueke. After some arguments between Jackson and Madueke about who would be taking, Palmer stepped up and calmly slotted home his fourth goal on the night.
