KOTA KINABALU: The Wanita wings of Pakatan Harapan will be mobilising some 6,000 members to campaign for Parti Warisan Sabah's candidate in the Jan 18 Kimanis parliamentary by-election.
Sabah Pakatan director of operations for Kimanis, Jannie Lasimbang, said that at any one time during the two-week campaigning period from Jan 4, there would be some 300 component party women working to woo women who make up nearly half of the over 29,000 voters in Kimanis.
“Each party's machinery will move in areas which have been allocated, as well move into joint campaigns in other areas, ” she said on Saturday . Warisan, the ruling party in Sabah, is friendly to Pakatan, but is not a part of the national coalition.
