Pagasa: Parts of Luzon to experience rain but hot weather will still prevail

The convergence of easterlies and north easterlies is set to bring rain over large areas of Luzon this morning but sweltering temperatures will still persist in the country, the state weather service said. | SAbrogarINQ

Estareja added that Samar provinces may also see rain showers, as moderately cloudy to cloudy skies is predicted in most of Luzon with chances of rain over parts of Calabarzon and Central Luzon.

Mimaropa – especially Northern Palawan – can expect rain due to localized thunderstorms while Cordillera and Cagayan Valley can anticipate the same from afternoon to nightfall, he added. The weather authority likewise said in its forecast for May 11 that moderately cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of rain may occur especially in Eastern Visayas, Panay Island, Northern Negros, and Northern Cebu.
