Pagasa: Moderate to heavy rain in Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao due to LPA

The low pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility is forecast to trigger moderate to heavy rainfall in Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao on Thursday, according to the Pagasa. | JMangaluzINQ

The shear line is also expected to hit the same areas affected by the LPA.

Meanwhile, the state weather bureau said that Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro , Marinduque, and Palawan are forecast to have cloudy skies with rain due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan”.
