Eleven areas in Luzon are under Signal No. 1 after Tropical Depression AmangPH made landfall in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur, the weather bureau PAGASA said late Wednesday afternoon.
Accumulated rainfall of 50 to 100 mm is forecast in Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Quezon in the next 24 hours and in the next three days in CALABARZON, Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and the southern portion of Aurora.
Likewise, severe winds with a strong breeze to near gale strength will also be experienced in the areas under the storm signal, which may cause minimal to minor impacts to life and property. “Mariners of small seacrafts are advised to take precautionary measures when venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigating in these conditions,” said PAGASA.
