State weather bureau PAGASA on Wednesday said 10 to 14 tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility from May to October 2023.
“On average, we expect 10 to 14 tropical cyclones from May to October,” senior weather specialist Rusy Abastillas said during PAGASA’s climate forum.
Two to four tropical cyclones are expected in July, she added.PAGASA earlier bared the following names of tropical cyclones that will enter the country in 2023:
