Padres' Blake Snell facing Brewers ace Corbin Burnes in second start back from injured list
Two former Cy Young winners square off at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday at Petco Park, although Blake Snell is in a far different place in his career than Brewers ace Corbin Burnes.
Snell threw 84 pitches in 3 2/3 innings in his season debut last week in Philadelphia. He was roughed up for five runs on five hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings in a loss to Milwaukee last year, his only appearance to date against the Brewers.Advertisement Those numbers include striking out 17 over 12 innings in two starts against the Padres, one a victory and one a loss.
