PAC bimbang FELCRA belum jual bangunan Semarak20
KUALA LUMPUR: FELCRA Berhad mencetuskan kebimbangan Jawatankuasa Kira-Kira Wang Negara kerana masih belum menjual bangunan komersial Semarak20 di Jalan Semarak walaupun terdapat syarikat yang berminat.
Empat syarikat secara rasmi sudah menyatakan minat untuk pembelian secara en-bloc dengan mengemukakan surat hasrat. “Ini bagi meningkatkan hasil FELCRA, seterusnya membayar hutang kerajaan tanpa menggunakan dana dalaman,” katanya dalam Laporan Tindakan Susulan Menteri Kewangan , Kementerian Kewangan serta Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah bagi syor laporan PAC Parlimen berhubung FELCRA.
Bagaimanapun, katanya, tindakan itu tidak membantu FELCRA menjana pendapatan, sebaliknya mengakibatkan bebanan hutang lebih bagi menanggung operasi perniagaan. Sementara itu, KKDW menerusi maklum balas yang diterbitkan dalam laporan PAC, memberi komitmen untuk memastikan FELCRA dan FPSB melaporkan status penjualan projek Semarak20 secara berkala.
