Cecelia Perez, 47, is also facing charges of aggravated assault and arson that left the victim with first and second degree-burns.
A Pittsburgh woman was arrested and has been charged with setting her boyfriend on fire and attempting to make it look as if he had done it himself, according to reports.
The incident occurred Sunday night when dispatchers received a call of a 43-year-old man that was on fire. When authorities responded to the scene, Perez told officers that her boyfriend had put rubbing alcohol on a wound after he had cut himself while at work. She claimed she took a bedsheet and tried to put out the fire. Perez also claimed her boyfriend had been drinking for most of the day.
