man is charged with a firearms violation after police say he fired a round from a handgun that went through his wall and through his neighbor’s apartment, stopping at the neighbor’s front door.
The 26-year-old who fired the round told borough police the incident about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 2 occurred when he was trying to clean his Glock 45/19 Gen 5 9mm semiautomatic handgun and that it was pointed in the direction of the neighboring apartment and discharged, according to court papers.
