A total of P680,000 worth of shabu was seized from two high value individuals (HVIs) in a buy-bust operation in Caliwag St., Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said Tuesday, July 4. ManilaBulletin
The HVIs are identified as "Acob," 58-years-old, and "Raimah," 43-years-old, residents of Barangay Pinagbuhatan and are tagged as Regional HVIs with rank 5 and 9, respectively.
The police report indicated that operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit , Station Intelligence Section , and District Intelligence Division of the EPD, conducted a series of surveillance operations against the two suspects prior to the buy-bust operation which led to their arrest. Confiscated from Acob and Raimah are 19 plastic sachets containing shabu with an estimated weight of more or less 100 grams and with a standard drug price of P680,000, and the boodle money."I highly commend the excellent job, dedication, and efforts of the operating units for another milestone in our war against illegal drugs within our area of responsibility.
Earlier, the Pasig City Police recovered P918,000 worth of shabu from another HVI wanted for illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation on June 28 on Gabriel St. Barangay Santolan.
