The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued over 70 million Philippine Identification System IDs (PhilIDs) and ePhilIDs as of June 2023.

In a statement, PSA said it reached another milestone in implementing the PhilSys with 70,271,330 registered persons under the PhilIDs and ePhilIDs as of 16 June 2023.

At present, 33,422,502 PhilIDs had been delivered, while 36,848,828 ePhilIDs had been printed or downloaded. “The PSA shall continue its efforts in expediting the issuance of the PhilID and ePhilID. We encourage our kababayans who have received their PhilID and ePhilID to maximize its use in their transactions,” said PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, National Statistician, and Civil Registrar.

PhilSys-registered persons are encouraged to visit https://appt.philsys.gov.ph to check if they can claim their ePhilIDs. Registered persons who have received an official text message from the PSA may also download a PDF copy of the ePhilID on their mobile devices. The agency also assured the public that the PhilIDs affected in the Manila Central Post Office fire were prioritized and would be reprinted immediately.
