MANILA, Philippines — More than 400 people with medical needs have been assisted during a two-day caravan in Pangasinan province. Among the people who sought medical assistance were patients with cancer, respiratory diseases, orthopedic disorders, chronic kidney disease, and congenital disorders, as well as people with animal bites, childbirth concerns, and dental problems.The medical caravan took place in hospitals in Dagupan City and San Carlos City in partnership with local government officials namely, Calasiao town Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay, Pangasinan Gov.
“The two-day medical caravan, held on May 3 and 4, 2023, was able to help more than 400 patients with their medical expenses such as hospital bills, medicine, laboratory tests, dialysis, and other medical procedures,” the office of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano said in a statement Saturday.
