KUALA LUMPUR: The inaugural Kesuma Green Skills Fair is offering more than 3,000 green jobs for Malaysians, says Human Resource Minister Steven Sim .

These changes will generate more job opportunities, he said while highlighting plans to boost Malaysia's green economy. In Budget 2024, RM230bil was allocated for the sustainability-related development agenda: RM30bil being fiscal injection from the government, and RM200bil being the commitment from the private sector.He added that these are quality high-paying jobs, with positions available at the fair offering monthly salaries ranging from RM3,000 to RM16,000.According to data from myFuture jobs last year, there were 30,000 green jobs available, he said.
