OVER 100 jade carvings are on display at the National Art Gallery in an exhibition held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.
The event was officiated by Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry secretary-general Datuk Roslan Abdul Rahman. Visitors are invited to delve into the rich history of ancient jade art, which spans from the prehistoric era through the Ming and Qing dynasties. Each jade artifact not only showcases exquisite craftsmanship but also reflects cultural and aesthetic values that have persisted for thousands of years.
