More than 1,000 passengers were stranded in seaports in Sorsogon province after the PCG suspended all trips due to Tropical Depression AmangPH, which is affecting the Bicol region and some areas of south Quezon. /PDI

The agency reminds the public that small watercrafts are temporarily prohibited from sailing for everyone’s safety due to incessant rains and big waves.

The state weather bureau said on its 11 a.m. bulletin that Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 remained hoisted in Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Ticao Island, Burias Island, the eastern portion of Laguna , Aurora, Quezon, and the eastern portion of Rizal .
