restaurant, 3939 San Felipe, has planned its own proper sendoff for the late monarch by hosting a special breakfast and brunch.

On Monday the River Oaks restaurant will broadcast a delayed two-hour funeral on large screen televisions accompanied by a special a la carte breakfast menu beginning at 7 a.m. offering a selection of teas, pastries and dishes known to be favorites of the Queen. The service will segue into brunch beginning at 9:30 with additional non-breakfast items.

Reservations are required and space is limited. Ouisie’s also is planning to host a breakfast and brunch for the coronation of King Charles III.
