Nigeria finished their qualifying campaign top of Group A after hammering Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 on Sunday evening at Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
Samuel Chukwueze rounded off the thrashing for the Super Eagles with the sixth goal four minutes before time. Kevin and Benchimol gave the Blue Sharks a two-goal lead in the first 20 minutes but Ahoueke Denkey pulled a goal back for Togo five minutes before the break from the penalty spot. Gaius Makouta broke the deadlock for Congo on the half-hour mark and Silvere Ganvoula doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time from the penalty spot.
