Nigeria superstar Victor Osimhen could be set to take his own club Napoli to court after they posted a bizarre video of the marksman on social media.
Last season, the 24-year-old helped Gli Azzurri win their first league title in 33 years, but after being adored by the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona faithful ever since his arrival, it seems the forward has turned into the subject of mockery from his own club.
On Tuesday, the Italian champions released a peculiar video on TikTok pertaining to the forward's missed penalty this past weekend against Bologna. The footage appeared to mock the player for his attempt at trying to persuade the referee to award his side the spot-kick. Captioned"Gimme penalty please", the video depicts the Lagos native calling for the penalty by using an unusual sped-up voice, before showing him missing the subsequent spot-kick.
???? This was the original video posted by Napoli about Victor Osimhen… and then deleted.?? …player’s agent Calenda announced that Osimhen is considering to take legal action against Napoli.
