Osaka ‘dodged bullet’ in Stuttgart as rival Halep pulls out

“She was getting really close,” said Osaka, who is less than 200 points ahead of Halep in the WTA rankings. “I feel like I dodged a bullet there.” “The bounces are different and you have to swing for the ball. For me it is a little bit difficult, because I can´t hit as flat.”
