Organized Labour in Kogi State has directed all unions and affiliates under it to immediately comply with the nationwide strike ordered to press home the demand for a new minimum wage. The Kogi State Chairman of NLC, Comrade Amari Gabriel disclosed this at a meeting with State Executive Council (SEC) members in Lokoja on Sunday.

He called on all union leaders to ensure total compliance in the state.
gathered that the nationwide strike is expected to commence 12 midnight Sunday. It would be recalled that the National body of the Organized Labour after the expiry of the May 31 deadline given to the Federal Government, declared a nationwide strike to press home the demand for a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
