KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 — Perikatan Nasional’s “Save Malaysia” rally is still scheduled to go on this Saturday despite not having a police permit and three of its leaders being called up by the police regarding the event.reported that rally organiser Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegubard as saying that the event was still being planned despite the “intimidation” shown by the authorities.

Badrul Hisham also called on all Malaysians to take part in the rally in conjunction with Malaysia Day, tomorrow. He said the objective of the rally is to"champion freedom of speech and voicing our intention to march and save Malaysia.” On possible participation of the “Red Shirts” led by Umno’s Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, Badrul Hisham said it is their right to gather.
