General public on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 through Ticketmaster.
Walker Hayes’ “Duck Buck” tour will bring him to the Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach in June, according to information released Monday by Birmingham-based Red Mountain Entertainment.
The show will take place June 24, a Saturday, and will feature special guests Ingrid Andress and Ray Fulcher. General public on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16The title track of Hayes’ breakthrough album “Country Stuff” includes a line about hunting ducks and bucks, and that inspired the “Duck Buck” logo, an antlered duck, that adorns some of Hayes’ merchandise.
In announcing the 2023 tour, Hayes said that his first arena headlining dates in 2022 had been a dream come true. “The whole family was able to come out and the road has become our new home away from home,” he said in the tour announcement. “All the fans that have come out or will come out are making this dream a reality. I owe it all to them, and this next tour will be the biggest and best.
Hayes, who is from Mobile, scored his first No. 1 country song in 2021 with “Fancy Like” and followed that up with another Top 5 country single, “AA.” For now the show is Hayes’ only Alabama tour date in the first half of 2023.
