Orang Asli deaths in Gua Musang not due to mysterious disease, say cops

POLICE refuted the report that two Orang Asli residents in Kg Kuala Koh in Gua Musang had died of a mysterious disease on May 29 and yesterday. Gua Musang police chief Supt Taufik Maidin said both victims – the 30-year-old man who died on May 29 and the 21-year-old woman who passed away at 4 pm yesterday – actually died of viral infections in the lungs which cause severe coughing.
