Optimism abounds as Selangor BN convention starts

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Barisan Nasional Convention has kicked off here with the state coalition coordination committee deputy chairman Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omar Din telling participants that victory in the 15th General Election is possible.

"We will never surrender, we will keep the spirit high and this can result in a victory in the coming GE. "There is only one mission. To bring Selangor back under Barisan," he said when addressing the participants at the Setia City Convention Centre here on Sunday .Other Barisan leaders who will speak at the event are Barisan advisory panel member and former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Selangor Barisan coordinatin committee chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar.
