Ops Didik & Tegur launched to educate traders in KK

KOTA KINABALU: The City Hall (DBKK) carried out Ops Didik & Tegur at Anjung Kinabalu and Anjung Senja on Wednesday as part of efforts to create a cleaner, safer, and more harmonious city environment.

The operation, held from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, was led by DBKK Deputy Director-General Robert Lipon and involved 51 Licensing, Enforcement, Environmental Health, and Property Management officers. Advertisement Food stall operators at D’Walai Suri, D’Walai Mata Biru, and Anjung Senja were advised on proper food handling, customer service, and cleanliness and were sternly warned to display clear price tags.

Two compounds under the Hawkers By-law 1966 were issued to unlicensed traders at D’Walai Mata Biru and Anjung Senja, while another was issued under the Anti-Litter By-law 1984 at Anjung Senja.
