OPPO is set to introduce a new model in the A-series called the A60. While the smartphone has not been announced yet, it has already made its way to several
certification platforms, confirming its existence as well as certain key specs. It is speculated to be the successor to last year's A59.
Just today, the A60 has gotten certified by SIRIM, appearing on the database with the model number CPH2631. With this listing, we can expect the device to be available in the Malaysian market soon after its official debut, although it is still unknown as to when the company plans to do the unveiling.
Some of the A60's specs that have leaked include a 50MP primary camera as well as an 8MP selfie shooter, both supporting EIS. The phone also seems to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. To recall, the A59 sports a 6.56-inch 1080p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. It contains a 13MP main sensor alongside an 8MP selfie camera, powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W charging. Moreover, it supports dual 5G SIM cards, has a microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.
