Opinion: The White House Correspondents’ Association has a trivial problem and a real problem

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders at the White House on Jan. 28. By Erik Wemple Erik Wemple Media critic with a focus on the ups and downs and downs of the cable-news industry. Email Bio Follow Media critic April 23 at 7:16 PM President Trump has ordered members of his administration to stay away from the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday night. He’ll be doing a rally in Green Bay, Wis., instead.
