Well, isn’t that precious? Our dear former president wants his own personal constitution. Tojo, Mussolini, Hitler, Franco, Idi Amin, and Pinochet wanted their own constitutions. Someone forgot what they learned in kindergarten.Trump’s call to “terminate” the US Constitution, and his involvement in the Jan. 6 attempted-coup, should at least disqualify him from continued Secret Service protection.
When he said Sen. John McCain — a retired U.S. Navy captain who had received 17 military awards including the Silver Star, two Legions of Merit, two Purple Hearts, two Navy and Marine Corps accommodation medals and the Prisoners of War medal — was not a hero, Republican leadership remained silent.
