PIW di Kuala Langat, Selangor akan diuruskan oleh pemaju hartanah, Gamuda Land bagi aspek pengurusan dan operasi tanah rizab 450.7 hektar

PUTRAJAYA: Paya Indah Wetlands di Kuala Langat, Selangor akan diuruskan oleh pemaju hartanah, Gamuda Land melalui anak syarikatnya, Discovery Wetland Sdn. Bhd. bagi aspek pengurusan dan operasi tanah rizab seluas 450.7 hektar itu sehingga 31 Julai 2037.

PIW dimiliki kerajaan negeri berkenaan yang sebelum ini dikendalikan sepenuhnya oleh Jabatan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar dan Taman Negara sejak 25 tahun lepas yang diwartakan sebagai tapak perlindungan tanah lembab di bawah Kanun Tanah Negara pada 17 Februari 1998. “Satu jawatankuasa bersama yang dipengerusikan oleh Ketua Pengarah Perhilitan akan dibentuk bagi memantau pelaksanaan dan pematuhan kerjasama strategik ini,” katanya.
