‘Only fair’ Sarawak rubber smallholders get monsoon aid, too, says Uggah

SARAWAK wants Putrajaya to extend the monsoon season aid to eligible rubber smallholders in the state, said Deputy Chief Minister Douglas Uggah Embas. While the state has no issue with the federal government’s move to grant the aid to 70,000 rubber smallholders in Sabah, he said, “it is only fair” that the assistance be given to those in Sarawak, too.
