K-pop star and actor Ong Seong Wu will start the new year with his solo fan meeting that includes the Philippines as one of the stops and the release of his digital single.
Ong Seong Wu will be kicking off his “We Belong” Asia Fan Meeting in Seoul on Jan. 11 at Kyunghee University’s Peace Hall. Tickets to the event were all sold out. This will be followed by his fan meetings in Thailand on Jan. 18, Taipei on Feb. 15 and then Manila.
In the Philippines, Ong Seong Wu’s “We Belong” fan meeting will be held at 6 p. m. on Feb. 25 at the Araneta Coliseum.Ong Seong Wu is excited to meet his Pinoy Welos, saying in a video message, “Recently I’ve met you through drama and I’m really happy and excited about this opportunity to meet PH Welo in real through fan meeting. No matter how far it is, I can always feel you cheering for me. So please wait a bit more till the day we finally meet.
In addition, his agency, Fantagio, announced recently that Ong Seong Wu will release a self-composed digital single in January. The star also recently unveiled his own light stick. After completing his stint in Wanna One, he went solo in 2019 and starred in the drama “At Eighteen,” which aired in Korea from July to September.
For his role, he won Best New Actor and Hallyu Star Award at the 12th Korea Drama Awards, and Rookie Actor Award at the 2019 Asia Artist Awards.
