The teaser was published on Amazon India and didn’t reveal much about the earbuds except for the design and launch date. Speaking of the design, it looks almost identical to the Nord Buds 2 except for the colourful blue colour of one of the Nord Buds 2R’s variants.
Based on the teaser, details of the earbuds would be revealed gradually leading up to the launch date. On 27 June, the Nord Buds 2R’s drive will be revealed, its ability to block noise on 29 June, its battery life on 1 July and its connectivity features on 3 July. The ‘bloc the noise’ part is definitely intriguing, as it would allude to the earbuds having Active Noise Cancellation abilities, or at least Hybrid ANC. For budget earbuds, that is definitely a welcomed feature.
Of course, no price or availability details were mentioned yet too, though it should be cheaper than the Nord Buds 2. As a reminder, the Nord Buds 2 was launched in Malaysia in April, priced at RM329. Well, we just have to wait for 5 July to know the full specs and price.
