The most significant impact will be in the extended support for Android updates. OnePlus has committed to four major Android updates and five years of security patches. The extended support makes it much easier for consumers to use their phones for many years, especially the five years of security updates.
The OS itself is benefiting from increased efficiency through the AI system booster; OnePlus is quoting"thirty percent increase in fluency rate, twenty percent increase in app installation speed, and a ten percent increase in app start-up speed compared to previous versions."
