Members of the Orange County Taiwanese American community held a news conference Saturday at the Laguna Woods church where a gunman opened fire in a banquet hall last Sunday, killing one man and injuring five other people.
In the church parking lot, Peggy Huang, a Yorba Linda councilmember, told reporters that the community was appreciative of the outpouring of support. “It has been a very difficult time for the community," said Huang,"but we stand united against hate."Support for LAist comes from
