Police said they went to the Lower Paxton Township home to investigate an online threat, and instead ended up in a stand-off.
Police arrested one person after an attempt to investigate an online threat turned into a nearly two-hour stand-off in Lower Paxton Township on Tuesday morning, according to officials.
An officer approached the front door and attempted to contact the resident inside when the officer heard what sounded like a single gunshot from inside the home, police said. When the person inside did speak to police, they initially refused to come out of the home, according to police.
