One person is in critical condition after being stabbed near the UT Austin campus Monday morning.
The Austin Police Department says officers responded to a reported stabbing at around 11:53 a.m. in the 700 block of W. 22nd Half Street. Austin-Travis County EMS said they were called to the 2200 block of Rio Grande Street and transported the victim as a trauma alert to a local trauma facility with critical, life-threatening injuries.This case remains under investigation. Police do not have additional information to provide at this time.
