But it wasn’t long until officers responded to another crash that was reported just eight blocks away at 16th Street and Potrero Avenue. There, Rueca said police found the same vehicle that fled the prior scene, as well as another car that had been struck. Both the victim and the adult male suspect were injured, and medics were summoned to the scene to transport them to the hospital.
