A motorcycle rider died while six others were injured in separate accidents in Purok Rosas, Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
BACOLOD CITY — Staff Sgt. Ronald Javier, traffic investigator of Bago City Police Station, said that Francisco swerved to the opposite lane to avoid a pick-up truck that was making a u-turn.Javier said that Francisco collided with the other motorcycle.The two riders on another motorcycle suffered minor injuries, while a family, including two children on board a pick-up truck was unharmed.
Meanwhile, an ambulance on its way to respond to the said accident crashed into a truck loaded with sugarcane. Javier said the ambulance hit the rear part of the truck that was stuck in the traffic due to the collision.The pick-up truck driver and the truck driver were released from police custody on Thursday, following a settlement, Javier said.
